This konjac shower gel is formulated with our natural, plant-based gelling agent Alter-Gelijac, derived from Konjac root. Alter-Gelijac is a high-viscosity gelling agent, an alternative to carbomer. Ideal to obtain colorless gels with hight viscosities.
– ALTER-GELIJAC 1%
ALTER-GELIJAC is a natural, plant-based gelling agent for translucent, high-viscosity gels.
This natural gelling agent is a perfect alternative to synthetic polymers. This ingredient is obtained by extracting polysccharides from the konjac’s root. It leaves a protective film on the skin and a freshness feeling. It can be used both hot and cold.
FORMULA
– Water: QSP 100%
– Plantacare 810 UP : 5.0%
– Tego Betain F 50 : 5.0%
– Alter-Gelijac : 1.0%
– Citric Acid : 0.9%
– Perfume lagune : 0.2%
– Benzyl Alcohol : 0.14%
– Sodium Benzoate : 0.1%
Mix all ingredients at room temperature for 20 minutes.
You can also heat to 75°C for an even smoother texture.
