Lichen Exfoliator

Our Lichen is a natural exfoliant made from the red algae Chondrus crispus, a member of the Rodophyte family. It is harvested in France, on the coast of Brittany.

Lichen Exfoliator is mainly used in soap production. The exfoliating particles are easy to keep in suspension. Its high carrageenan content gives it humectant, softening properties.

Its brown-beige colour is due to the drying process, which gives the product good stability. We recommend incorporating it into anhydrous products for greater stability.
