FUCOREVERSE: An Active marine anti-aging ingredient resulting from the development of a co-product.

Fucoreverse is an anti-aging marine active, derived from brown algae: Laminaria. It comes from the Iroise Sea. Fucoreverse visibly reduces wrinkles by protecting and stimulating the synthesis of the extracellular matrix of the dermis.

Located at the tip of Finistère, between the island of Sein, Ouessant and the limits of the territorial sea, the Park protects 350 000 hectares of marine space.

Fucoreverse is one of the only active ingredient from algal origin manufactured from the valorization of a by-product. The raw material used to manufacture Fucoreverse is 100% a waste of alginates extraction factory. Usually, this waste is directly eliminated in the ocean. Following a policy of circular economy, the alginate extraction plant is located next to Lessonia‘s processing site, a few kilometers away.

The unique composition of Fucoreverse is linked to a hydrolysis technology making it possible to obtain very small fractions of fucoidans highly sulphated and a low molecular weight fucoidans (less than 2kDA). This composition explains the strong biological activity and the skin absorption capacities.
